Strange how this does not feel like the 'progress' it once would have done . . I can remember when we saw things so differently but gas was not $2.50 a gallon back then.

With no traffic in sight and the road tore up like this the photo looks like a disaster zone....till you see the few heavy machines in sight :) Love this composition and angle.....from an overpass?

They're expanding a highway like this on my usual route to Austin. All I could think of is all the trees they're going to cut down. I'd rather keep the trees.

@Twelvebit: There's a small type of village housing area on the right, there dreams will be shattered a bit.
