Observing from West Cheshire, United KingdomBrilliant shot Joe, love it, the way the cart has been dumped under that cool looking lamp. 15 Feb 2009 6:02am @Observing: About every mound of snow has at least one buried cart. zahai from Berlin, GermanyGreat perspective and composition. Beautifully captured :) 15 Feb 2009 11:19am @zahai: Thanks I really wasn't too sure about it. Laura from Birmingham, United Kingdomoh dear. not like your normal ordered trollies! great shot 15 Feb 2009 2:24pm @Laura: This is the darker uglier side of life as a cart. :D Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaOne Sunday in the summer I'd really love to see a cart full of flowers ;) 15 Feb 2009 2:42pm @Lorraine: I don't know if that's possible to find naturally, it might have to be set up which I've only done with the Christmas shot, as I try to capture them as they are. If you throw in flowers it could happen (he he). :D @MadScientist: You have to express yourself a little better. MadScientist from Düsseldorf, GermanyYou have to express yourself a little better. - Sorry, it struck me like a bolt of lightning. I'm still chuckling. 15 Feb 2009 10:20pm @Shawna: I'll be looking for it. Linerberry from Sumner, Christchurch, New ZealandSuperb! What a great shopping cart day:-) Love it:-) 16 Feb 2009 6:41am Charles from Toronto, CanadaI'm expecting Bubbles to pop from behind there and roll away te cart :-) (Bubbles from Trailer Park Boys) Great shot. 17 Feb 2009 2:39pm Twelvebit from Victoria, United StatesA miniature shopping cart on a huge piece of broccoli? 18 Feb 2009 12:10am @Twelvebit: eat your broccoli. Stephanie from Toronto, CanadaLove it. I wonder who tossed that cart up there on the pile of dirty snow (is it spring yet)? 18 Feb 2009 2:36pm @Stephanie: This was in a Box Mall, the snowplows don't stop to move them so into the pile they go. Spring is around the corner, but I haven't seen the corner yet. Michael Rawluk from Williams Lake, BC, CanadaA traditional Canadian scene. It looks great in b+w. 20 Feb 2009 4:07pm Melvina Germain from Calgary, CanadaOh! Save us! Save us! the old carts say, surely you can find something useful for us to do today. Ahhh yes, tossed away, sort of the way we toss away our seniors when the years take it's toll and they are fading away. The cast of gray in the background certainly lends to the character of this dramatic composition. Oh I could go on and on about this one, I could most definitely find a spot for this one on my wall and a poem would be attached to it reflecting the end of that full life circle. 23 Mar 2009 7:07pm |
